About me
An experienced registered clinical Psychotherapist and Counsellor working with teenagers and adults. I work online nationally using video. I create a calm, safe and confidential environment where you can think aloud without being judged, and we can identify and explore issues that may be affecting you.
It is totally normal to feel anxious or nervous when thinking about therapy.
Our first session will be 1 hour and is at no cost. This gives you the opportunity to tell me about your reasons for coming to therapy, concerns you may have, or changes you would like to make along with goals to work towards. I am likely to ask questions to guide you through this. You can also see how you feel talking with me and ask me questions about how I work.
I aim to support you in identifying, understanding, and changing aspects of your life that may be having a negative impact on your wellbeing.
Please refer to my website for further information.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy accredited by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body. I am also a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
I am DBS cleared and I complete safeguarding training yearly. I am also insured and in regular professional supervision, which ensures the highest standard of support for clients.
Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
