About me

Sometimes our thoughts and feelings are too complicated for words alone, and when this is the case Art Therapy is an incredibly effective way of exploring what is going on for you. I am a fully accredited professional Art Psychotherapist, currently working for the NHS and privately; offering bespoke, online art therapy interventions for individuals who wish to address issues such as living with trauma, interpersonal relationship difficulties, poor self-esteem, sense of identity, and struggles with self-compassion.

Training, qualifications & experience

I graduated with an MA in Art Psychotherapy from the University of South Wales in 2022, and have been working full time for the NHS as a practicing Art Psychotherapist in both acute inpatient and community settings ever since. I have a wealth of experience in facilitating Art Therapy Groups, as well as working 1:1 with patients with a range of needs and presentations; including Personality Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Psychosis and BiPolar Disorder.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
