BSC [HONS] DIP Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP)

About me

Hello and a warm welcome!

How many times has life thrown you off balance? Whether its a bereavement, a relationship breakdown a global pandemic or days which seem full of anxiety and emotional turmoil.
Rather than asking and obsessing over "why is this happening to me?" I'm here to support and assist you in changing that question to  "how can I grow through this?" I believe in uncovering the root of your problem and metaphorically expelling it from the body to allow your soul to start to heal and a positive outlook on life to begin.
My ways of working are sometimes unorthodox and I work holistically by encompassing the whole person, mind, body and soul.

My experience enables me to offer effective, individualised psychological care. I work with a number of mental health disorders, and provide a non judgemental enviroment to individuals, families, and couples.
I have over 15 years experience of working within mental health.  I am an NLP Life Coach and have completed many CPD courses. I include many different psychological approaches within sessions including Cognitive Behavior Therapy , Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Person Centered, Solution Focused Therapy

I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
My focus is to help you heal, energise, and become aware of your inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns and offering unconditional possitive rergard for my clients.

Please note, due to my Christian beliefs I may include Christian principals and prayer within my work with clients if desired by the client.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
