Cyndi Draper - Mental Health Counsellor MBACP
*FIRST SESSION OF COUNSELLING IS FREE* (MEN ONLY) There is still a stigma surrounding men seeking counselling, therefore I am offering the first session free of charge in the hopes that men come forward and seek the therapy they would like.
Hello and a warm welcome!
You have found my page for a reason and I hope I'll be able to connect with you and support you on your counselling journey.
Life can sometimes throw us off balance, whether it be a bereavement, a relationship breakdown or a global pandemic! It's OK to feel worried, anxious to find yourself within a negative place.
We can become consumed with "the right way" of being and feeling and this can sometime block our ability to see that we are exactly where we are meant to be in the present moment!
Rather than asking the age old question of "why is this happening to me?" I'm here to assist you in being able to ask yourself "how can I grow through this?"
My ways of working are sometimes unorthodox and I work holistically by encompassing the whole person, mind, body and soul.
I believe in uncovering the root of the distress whatever it may be and metaphorically expelling it from the body. This will allow the soul to heal and a positive fresh out look on life to begin.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
