Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
We are a private practice. Our therapists provide Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for adults with the following problems: Phobias/Panic Disorder/Social Anxiety/Health Anxiety/Generalised Anxiety Disorder/Obsessive Compulsive Disorder/Low Self Esteem/Depression
Qualified therapists are accredited with the BABCP and trainee therapists are members of the BABCP, the lead organisation for CBT in the UK and Ireland
Training, qualifications & experience
All our qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapists will have completed their CBT training at Queens University Belfast to at least Bachelors degree with honours/post graduate/masters degree level. This training is accredited by the BABCP and our therapists are accredited with the BABCP and registered with the NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council)
Our Cognitive Behavioural Therapists have over 30 years experience working within the NHS with patients with mental health problems.
Our Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner has a BSc (Hons) Degree in Psychology from Queens University, Belfast and a Masters in Applied Psychology from the University of Ulster and is a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner currently undertaking further training in high intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. He has up to 5 years experience working both within the NHS and the voluntary sector providing care for patients with a learning disability and mental health problems.
We pride ourselves on maintaining our continuing professional development and keeping up to date with all developments in the world of psychological care. We have extensive knowledge, skills and experience of assessing patients and providing treatment for a vast range of mental health problems. Our service will treat you with respect and compassion and will provide you with high quality care. All information you provide us with will be managed in a completely confidential manner.

British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK.
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists.
BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
