Curian Medical is a dedicated provider of talking therapies in the UK, specialising in delivering psychotherapy such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Bereavement Counselling, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as a range of further treatments.
Curian are able to provide high quality, affordable, professional and confidential psychotherapy and counselling services throughout the country utilising our associates and within the West Midlands utilising our in-house Psychotherapist Holly Beedon.
We are able to offer face to face therapy in addition to therapy online via Skype or by telephone and are committed to providing counselling, and psychotherapy, in a safe, non-judgemental, confidential environment from where you can talk about anything you want, however difficult.
All therapists within our network are trained in their relevant fields and registered with their respective bodies, such as the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), British Psychological Society (BPS) or United Kingdom Psychotherapy Council (UKCP). Furthermore, they are overseen by a recognised and qualified person. Curian employs a Clinical Lead, a Clinical Psychologist whose role is extremely varied however it includes providing clinical direction for the business, mentoring our panel of therapists and Curative Team, defining and developing new services and protocols, as well as reviewing client’s progression through treatment and being available to discuss treatment when required.
As we are all unique the therapy we provide is tailored to the unique needs, aims and concerns of each individual client we work with.
Training, qualifications & experience
Our therapist, Holly is a fully trained Integrative Psychotherapist and High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. She is an accredited member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BAPCP) and adheres to the ethical code of practice of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BAPCP) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

Holly has had several years of clinical experience working as a clinical therapist with a diverse range of settings including the NHS, charitable sectors, voluntary sector and private practice. Holly has a range of training and experience, enabling her to adopt a flexible approach to her clients and tailor her work to the clients individual needs.

Curian Medical - Clinical Lead
Dr. Abi Lucas is a qualified clinical and research psychologist. With experience of working clinically with individuals and groups struggling with a variety of mental health difficulties, Dr Lucas takes an empathic and genuine approach to her work. She works with all ages with a particular interest in long standing difficulties and trauma. She is trained in the use of psychometrics assessing mental health difficulties and neuropsychological issues. Alongside her clinical work, Dr Lucas also works in the corporate sector providing expertise and consultancy around wellbeing and resilience.

Curian Medical charge fees at our Willenhall address of £65 for face to face sessions or £55 for sessions carried out online or by telephone.
