About me

Greetings, and thank you for visiting my profile. I'm a warm and approachable Clinical Psychologist with a wealth of experience gained from my work within both the NHS and private practice. My professional journey has allowed me to assist clients facing a diverse array of challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, and abusive relationship recovery.

I currently offer remote / video based therapy - but don't let that put you off, as I have 100% positive testimonials on this approach (clients realising it makes access to therapy more accessible and flexible).

What can I offer you?

My commitment lies in recognising the unique needs of each individual, as I am deeply passionate about tailoring therapy to your specific journey. It starts with developing a profound understanding of you, working collaboratively to enhance your well-being and achieve your goals.

I offer a flexible approach that integrates four main types of therapy, all designed to adapt seamlessly to your requirements throughout your therapeutic process.

My therapy style is grounded in building strong therapeutic relationships, emphasising a time-limited approach that typically spans 12, 18, or 24 sessions.

For your convenience, I offer flexible weekday daytime appointment slots, currently available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 9.15 am to 5pm.

For those who like to know which models:

My therapy is informed by a range of approaches, that I weave into the work as I learn more about your needs.  These include:

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
