Counselling Hub Aberdeen
About us
We all deserve both psychological and emotional well-being! Yet, sometimes ‘life’ grinds us down, we often lose our emotional resources and the psychological tools required to live a healthy and empowering lifestyle.
As counsellors and psychotherapists our focus is to support individuals through distress and times of crisis. We work with a range of complex issues such as abuse, trauma, anxiety, addiction, depression, grief, emotional distress, anger and neuro diversity.
Although we work with all individuals, we both have further areas of interest, such as childhood behavioral issues, addiction and trauma.
Whatever your individual situation may be, Counselling Hub Aberdeen aims to provide you with support in identifying any changes that can positively impact on your day to day living; whether this be the development of specific skills, a greater understanding of yourself or feelings.
We know that the right type of communication is key to healthy relationships and greater understandings and although therapeutically our counsellors work differently, fundamentally, we will always work with you and your needs. We will never give you simple advice or misguided directions, we will listen, respect and always act both accordingly and professionally.
We offer high quality affordable long term and short term therapy for adults over the age of 16. For under 16's please see our website for more information.
Training, qualifications & experience

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
