About me

Deciding on the right therapist to choose can feel tough, like a huge decision and the fear of making the wrong choice can sometimes be overwhelming. I offer a free, informal telephone call for us to look at how we could work together. There's no pressure. We can just see how we feel.

I'm an Accredited Registrant Member of the National Counselling Society which means I work to their ethical code and I work closely with other professionals to safeguard your interests. At the present time, with government restrictions,  I see clients via Zoom or telephone and provide a safe and caring environment where you can talk about the things that really matter to you.

Historically I worked with Samaritans for many years and continue to support this organisation. I continue to work with Cruse Bereavement Care. I also work for East Sussex Recovery Program as an Addictions Counsellor.

I have experience working with clients presenting with drug and alcohol addiction, depression, anxiety, PTSD, complicated grief, childhood neglect and abuse or relationship abuse.

If you would like to know more about my practice and the way in which I work, please visit my website www.clearthinkingtherapy.co.uk or perhaps you could call and see if you'd like us to work together.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
