Community Counselling Service
We have over 20 years’ experience of providing Training, Counselling and Supervision for adults and young people living in Manchester.
Our Counselling Service is for anyone who is experiencing emotional problems or a life situation they are finding difficult to cope with. We offer face-to-face counselling in a safe environment to help you sort out your thought and feelings, without being judged, and learn better ways of coping.
We can offer a choice of male or female counsellor and, if you have difficulty speaking English, a bilingual counsellor. Counselling sessions are normally arranged on weekly basis, although this can be negotiated to suit specific requirements. We can offer counselling either from our offices at Oakland House or another venue closer to your home. Home counselling is available if you are unable to travel due to health or other reasons.
Training, qualifications & experience
Our team includes counsellors with Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Supervision. Our counsellors work within ethical guidelines set by British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. We also provide placements for trainee Counsellors who work under close supervision of a qualified supervisor.
