How I work with you
I work instinctively with each person who seeks my help and adapt my style to integrate with your particular requirements. I am deeply passionate about finding compassion and kindness for ourselves, (arguably the hardest thing of all), however I believe they are the cornerstone to life and wellness. I do not just sit and listen, and I do not have all the answers. I have a firm belief that all people have inherent worth and deserve to be loved and this is the key to healthy relationships and connections
How counselling can help
Everyday normality can sometimes seem difficult when we are not being heard or noticed. Counselling can allow you to break free of unhealthy behavioural patterns and belief systems. I believe that throughout our lives we need different things at different times as we evolve. There are many ways of working with people to help relieve their psychological pain, which I myself have also experienced.
I specialise in anxiety, childhood trauma, anger, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and have a particular passion for working with those enable them to promote personal growth and a more balanced life. My own personal journey through childhood, family divorce, marriage and motherhood along with PTSD initiated my desire to work in the emotional/mental health space.

I am an accredited integrative therapist of the BACP and I work instinctively with each person who seeks my help.
I have extensive experience of working with people in several environments coupled with a genuine intuition to people's needs and how they can unpack them to get what they need to make their lives a better positive experience for them.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Areas of counselling I deal with
£60-95 depending on location and time of session.
Limited low cost sessions available for people with a low household income, which can be agreed in the first session.
I charge less for daytime sessions than evenings.
Initial session I offer is free to see if we feel we can work together, I find this helps enormously to give you an experience of what therapy would be like and to answer any questions you may have
Sessions last for 50 minutes. Longer sessions are available if needed.
