Asking for help is not always easy, and it is especially harder when you live in a world where you feel different from others. You need not be alone in this. Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. call me for a quick no-obligation chat.
I am a registered Counsellor that offers a wide range of support and techniques for Children and adults.
I work closely with children and young adults and have done for many years as a TA in pupil referral units and Schools, care and youth foyers. I support children with behavioural problems and SEN needs. I have an embedded understanding of their needs as an individual with a desire to be heard and understood.
I have developed my experiences in order to make my counselling practice a unique service for over 6 years.
Although I have experience with a wide range of issues that lead people to counselling, I also have experience within Education and care settings. It can often be hard to come to accept help when you have been told you have to rely on others due to learning difficulties, especially if you are very independent in nature.
My specialist subject is working with individuals who are dealing with
- Attachment disorder
- Social anxiety
- Learning difficulties
- Mental health
- Behavioural problems
- Low confidence and self-worth
I follow the British Association of Counseling and Psychotherapy (BACP) guidelines for counsellors and have regular supervision every month to ensure that I practice in a safe and ethical manner.

Need some support, or just somewhere to turn? Change can be a hard thing to do. I'm a Humanistic counsellor who covers a wide range of approaches to enable me to see see what fits you best. I use mobile phones, sand trays, letter writing, images and pictures and much more.
Counselling is about helping you cope with the difficulties of real life. Sometimes, no matter who we are, we can all benefit from a listening ear. You are showing strength by looking for help, so let's work together to help reduce your anxiety.
Our first meeting/ assessment will be free, this is to establish if we are well suited to working together. Sessions thereafter are £25.00 for children and £40.00 for adults. Theses prices are subject to change depending on individual circumstances.
Having some learning difficulties myself and having a son on the Autistic spectrum helps me to work and understand the frustrations that this can bring.
I chose counselling as a career because I too through my own life experiences have found counselling to be a great release for my frustrations and grief, and hope to be able to do this for someone else.
