Depression, eating disorder, anxiety, grief, trauma, intimacy, sexual or relational issues, low self esteem or addiction, whatever your reason for considering counselling or longer-term psychotherapy, I provide a safe and nurturing environment where I will support you to identify and question unhelpful beliefs about yourself and to consolidate your skills and abilities to work more effectively towards your life goals.
Therapeutic work takes a lot of courage, for clients to come forward and take the risk of finding out about themselves and trusting another with their experience and wounding. I endeavour to honour that and treat all my clients with the humility and honour they deserve
My practice is an integrative approach, bringing together different elements of specific therapies to best suit each individual client.
Effective counselling or psychotherapy will support you to make the changes you would like to see happen. The main objective is having the motivation to explore your self-awareness and self-understanding and discover new strengths. It promotes increased self-esteem and confidence leading to a more fulfilling life.
It is very important to find the right therapist. I offer a free 15-minute initial phone consultation before meeting. Therapy can be short term or long term depending on your needs.
I also offer phone sessions, if appropriate and right for the client.
