Clare Fowler Counselling
I am an experienced and accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor located in East Devon, where I provide individual counselling for Male & Female adults, aged 18 years and over.
I am an Integrative practitioner, which means that I have studied all of the main theories of psychotherapy, such as psychodynamic, person centred and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), amongst others.
Being an Integrative practitioner, means that I can draw upon a broad range of skills, bringing flexibility to our work. I work with the client at the centre of my practice, so we can be sure we find a style that suits you.
As life throws all kinds of difficulties our way and whilst we manage to deal with most, we can find ourselves feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to get back on track. Maybe you are experiencing feelings that you don’t understand and need help to find your way through the fog, or maybe you know what you would like to explore but need someone who can listen and support you.
I am here to help you find a way to understand how you are feeling and my goal is to help you navigate your way through your journey and out of the fog.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
