Claire Turner - PTUK, BACP, AST
Hello and welcome, my name is Claire, I have over 20 years experience of working with children, young people, parents and their families.
I am friendly and approachable, and I make sure clients are comfortable and at ease. By letting my clients relax and be themselves, completely accepted just as they are, this creates an environment for healing to take place on many different levels where the tools and strategies needed for everyday life can be developed.
Over the years as a Creative Arts Therapist based in Bradford, I have met a lot of wonderful therapists all working with genuineness, courage, and humbleness. I recall going to counselling myself, remembering what a scary yet courageous step that was towards my healing. Therefore, I work in whatever way is appropriate for my clients, looking at what is best for them and I am open to the use of other creative methods.
I offer sessions tailored to the individual adult, child/young person and their family which includes Creative Therapy, Play Therapy and Sandplay Therapy (trainee). I have a lot of experience working with both children and adults. I aim to offer an authentic, non-judgemental and accepting experience - any questions please ask.
