Claire Turnbull - Reach for Solace Counselling & Emotional Support
Newcastle Upon Tyne
Tyne & Wear
2 Ninnian Terrace,
Hello, I'm Claire and I work as a therapeutic counsellor, psychotherapist and hypnotherapist at Reach for Solace. I work in Newcastle and Consett, County Durham.
How therapy can help:
Therapy can help build awareness of yourself, help build self esteem, restore balance, enhance your relationships, improve your self image and your confidence.
Therapy can help to understand where your opinions and beliefs came from and how you came to be where you are now.
"If something eases your disappointment or grief, consider it a Solace"
At Reach for Solace I also offer emotional support in a safe and caring environment. I am an experienced & qualified therapist and here to help you find your balance.
I offer an optional free of charge, confidential & commitment-free telephone conversation and also offer your initial face to face counselling or psychotherapy session half price where we can discuss further what you can expect from therapy, I can find out more about you and what has brought you to therapy.
Where I work at Reach for Solace there is a discreet service ensuring confidentiality & anonymity. The service is not signposted as a counselling service ensuring discreet access & egress.
There is free parking at our premises in County Durham and free parking after 6.30 pm in Newcastle. There is ample parking which can be found very close to our Newcastle premises.
There is access for people who have mobility issues at our County Durham therapy room.
What to expect in your first session:
There is an opportunity for you to ask any questions and look at any concerns you may have in relation to coming for counselling in your therapy session or during your free telephone call.
We may explore your family background, your support network, your relationship with others, look at your thoughts, feelings and beliefs but all at a pace that feels right for you.
We work on achieving your goals in ways that the therapist believes therapy can most help and what may be beneficial to focus on in therapy.
My last appointment I offer is at 8 pm every evening.
I offer Sunday appointments as I understand people lead busy lives.
Online and Telephone counselling can be very appropriate for workers, those with daytime obligations, people who have to leave the country but still wish to continue therapy and people with agoraphobia.
