Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, (CPsychol), having completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at King's College London, a Trained Health Psychologist (Msc) and a Coaching Psychologist and member of the International Society of Coaching Psychology. I have a research PhD in Psychology and am a Trained DBT and EMDR Therapist.
I have worked with individuals and families for 15 years in National Specialist, and Community Adult and Adolescent NHS Services and Private Practice.
I have specialist training and supervision in a number of evidence based therapies including but not limited to CBT, ACT, Compassion focused Therapies, EMDR, Mindfulness based approaches, DBT, Schema informed work.
I have additional training to offer coaching to enhance wellbeing and performance. You might wish to work stress and burnout, resilience, psychological flexibility, sleep, perfectionism and procrastination.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
Health and Care Professions Council
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
