Claire Greig, MSc MBACP
Welcome, I'm Claire and I am a trained Counsellor, registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My approach is largely Person Centred and is underpinned by a deep respect for humanness and a commitment to culturally sensitive practice.
I have worked with: stress, low mood, grief, low motivation, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, illness, abuse, identity and issues specifically pertinent to the LGBTQ community. I am also aware that sometimes feelings/issues don't feel easy to describe/know/pin down; sometimes there maybe a general sense of something not feeling quite right, or feeling stuck, sad or of having lost direction; counselling can help with this too.
What I Offer
A confidential, comfortable, non-judgemental space, where you will be met with compassion, a straight forward genuineness and the utmost respect.
I offer a discounted first session, where we can meet and you can decide whether you feel I am the right Counsellor for you. This is because the relationship between Client and Counsellor has been highlighted as one of the most important factors in determining successful therapeutic outcome.
Availability: Monday 8am - 1pm, Thursday & Friday 11am - 8pm & Saturday 9am - 1pm.
Location: just outside of Chester City Centre - this is on the bus route and also has free parking.
