About me
Like many people, I’ve had my own struggles-times when life felt overwhelming and I had to get through it without much support. It was often hard, and at times too much to carry alone. Yet those experiences sparked a deep curiosity in me about how we work as human beings: why we struggle, how we cope, and what truly helps us change and grow. Over time, this personal learning grew into a strong sense of injustice, seeing how many others also felt they had to face life’s difficulties on their own.
After two decades working in creative fields, my own recovery journey led me to spend over ten years training in ways I could meaningfully support others who are ready for change. What drives me now is simple: to be the kind of support I once needed but couldn’t find.
If life feels heavy, confusing, or like you’re stuck in familiar patterns, our work together can be a space to gently explore what’s behind those feelings and begin to find new ways forward. You might be navigating grief, trauma, a breakup or relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, burnout, anxiety-or simply a sense of not feeling “good enough.” Perhaps you’re in the midst of a big life transition or feeling disconnected from yourself, unsure of your next steps.
You don’t have to be in crisis to want something to shift. Therapy can be a space to understand yourself more deeply, reconnect with what truly matters to you, and grow into who you’re becoming. Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to go through it alone.
I offer one-to-one counselling for adults, online or in person, with flexible short- or long-term options depending on what feels right for you. Sessions are shaped around your individual needs and may include practical and creative tools, deeper emotional exploration, and-if it feels supportive-body-based practices like breathwork, mindfulness, or gentle movement to help with regulation and grounding.
Reaching out can feel daunting, especially when you’re considering sharing your story with someone new. To make the first step a little easier, I offer a reduced-cost 30-minute online consultation-a chance for us to meet, talk through what you're looking for, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
If any of this resonates with you, I’d be honoured to hear from you.
