About me
'In a real dark night of the soul it is always three o’ clock in the morning' - F. Scott Fitzgerald.
Specialist intervention for insomnia (CBT-I) - accepting new clients for April and May 2024.
Insomnia is a 24 hour condition which erodes one’s ability to lead a fulfilling life. Most people live with insomnia for an average of ten years before seeking help. I recognize how bad things must be for you to be here.
Despite the complexity of the initial cause of insomnia and its impact on your life, CBT-I is a brief but highly effective treatment. It will demand a lot from you, but if you are determined for things to change I am here to help.
Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) is the first line treatment recommended by the NHS and NICE guidelines for those suffering with insomnia, and commonly overlapping difficulties such as anxiety, depression, or PTSD. With this structured programme, you can recover from the debilitating effects of insomnia by correcting its underlying causes in as little as four sessions.
Whether your insomnia stops you from falling asleep, wakes you in the middle of the night or early hours of the morning, or stops you from feeling rested and restored, I am able to support you using CBT-I to get the rest you need. If your insomnia has lasted over three months, please get in touch to learn more about how I can help.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
