About me
I have been helping people who battle substance and process addictions in various capacities since 2013.
This specialised work lies at a particularly challenging point of personal transformation.
Today, it gives me insights and clear landmarks for guiding and supporting you with empathy and compassion throughout any change you want/need to make in your life.
If you feel change is unreachable, feel stuck, or are going through a major life change you cannot control, contact me for a chat to see how I can help you.
I provide therapy in English and in French (I am a French national and have lived in England for three decades). I also have a good working knowledge of Italian and the culture of Italy. I have worked at managerial level in the travel industry and marketing and bring my wealth of life and work experience + interests in neuroscience and behavioural economics to my work.
What I can help with
I have extensive experience in helping people who suffer from all forms of addiction get to a place of choice and freedom from substances (alcohol, drugs), and process addictions (pornography, gambling, sex, shopping, social media, etc).
I am passionate about personal transformation. This has led me to work particularly well with people grappling with procrastination, fear of change, or are in a place of uncertainty.
I also specialise in bereavement and grief work. I worked for three years for a renowned bereavement centre in London and can help you through the anger and confusion that the loss of a loved one has left you in.
Training, qualifications & experience
Christophe is a qualified Integrative Psychotherapy Counsellor and a registered British Association of Counselors and Psychotherapists (BACP) member. He completed a three years BACP-accredited advanced diploma in integrative humanistic psychotherapy at the CPPD Counselling School in London.
He has worked for leading addiction treatment centres in Great Britain, including Start2Stop, Lions Campus and Castle Craig via their CATCH Recovery practice. In his work with CATCH Recovery, Christophe has helped people across the full spectrum of compulsive pursuits: sex, pornography, gambling, and screen addictions, alongside alcoholism and drug addiction.
During his studies, Christophe completed a three-year placement at the London Bereavement Centre (CCIWBS), where he gained hands-on experience with guiding and supporting patients through their grieving process. His resulting understanding of clients’ unique journeys related to the acceptance of loss brings a deeper dimension to his counselling, particularly in the addiction treatment field where loss is an integral part of the journey of change.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

His mental health practice today draws from his extensive personal life and professional experiences, which include leadership roles such as General Manager and Purchasing Director for 14 years for an online hotel booking company, and Head of Marketing for a Wholesale Group Travel Company.
