I am a fully qualified counsellor working in Forfar and Dundee. My aim is to offer a strictly confidential, therapeutic service for people in and around this area.
In life we become overwhelmed and confused by situations and it can become difficult for us sometimes to find a way through. As a person-centred therapist I see my role as helping people to communicate what is on their minds so that they can see things more clearly. I offer a safe, caring and respectful environment for this to take place. Within this atmosphere the client and counsellor enters a relationship where the client will become more intimate with their own thoughts and feelings.
Relationships can suffer under the stresses of everyday life with pressures of work, children, extended family and health issues. Communication and intimacy can be lost and I offer couples a safe place to work together to discover the areas which have become too difficult for them to deal with by themselves.
I extend first appointments by 20-30 minutes to allow us to look at your needs and what you hope to gain from counselling. It is important that you feel comfortable before committing to further sessions.
If you would like to make an appointment, or discuss any matter relating to your counselling experience, I can be contacted on the following telephone number: 07582 201679
