Christine Livingston UKCP Registered Psychotherapist
So, you’re looking for a therapist.
Perhaps you’ve coped with one thing or another for a while by yourself, but things have got to a point where you feel enough is enough. And that it’s time to invest in some help.
Maybe you struggle with depression, feel overwhelmed by anxiety, or have relationship issues that get on top of you.
Or, while you might not yet use the word “addiction”, you notice that an alcohol, drugs, sex, or gambling habit has more control over you than you’d like.
Or, a body image or eating disorder consumes your life more than you think is healthy.
If you’re open to it, therapy can help with all these things. And, look, I get it. It’s a big deal to reach out to a therapist. What I often say to people, though, is come for one session and see how you feel. Take the time and space to talk through what’s going on for you. Have me listen and reflect back to you what I hear. Most often, you’re relieved to have spoken about whatever. And you can see the benefit of continuing.
I see people in person from Gosfield Street, which is a short walk from both Oxford Circus and Portland Street tube stations. I’ve twenty years experience, and am accredited by the UKCP. Sessions are fifty minutes long.
