Christine Hynes Registered Member MBACP
76 St. Giles Street
Hello, my name is Christine and l am a person-centred counsellor who will work with you in a professional, confidential and supportive way. We all know that sometimes in our lives, we may experience difficult life events from the past or in the present, which can impact on how we feel about ourselves and relate to others. Working through these feelings and emotions in a safe therapeutic environment will enable you to take the first steps to understanding how these events, may have impacted on you on a deeper level.
If you decide to take the first step, we will need to arrange and book an appointment for your first session ; so that we can discuss what it is you would like bring to counselling and I will be able to see if I am able to offer the right support for you. Our first session, will also give you the opportunity to see if I am the right counsellor for YOU, as I feel that this is very important for the counselling process to work.
Counselling sessions are normally once a week and last for 50 minutes; I offer both short term and long term sessions and this can be discussed in your first appointment to see what would be the best for your needs.
