About me

I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with years of experiencing working in NHS and the private sector practice.

As a BABCP Accredited  CBT Therapist I provide  psychotherapy service to clients .

CBT is an approved evidence based therapy by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence which govern our NHS and Private practise to ensure clients receive the best treatment and therefore provides a quality service to address psychological symptoms and promote well being .

I believe in working collaborative with people so they can understand their symptoms, manage their symptoms  and  achieve their goals .

Training, qualifications & experience

My background training is as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and my specialities included, Forensic nursing, Community care and Eating Disorders.

I have a Post Graduate Diploma Qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and have  trained in Family Behavioural Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy.

I have experience in working  with mild to complex emotional disorder.

I receive regular supervision and update my training so my clinical professional development is on going and  I continue to meet the Accredited standard of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapist .

Fees

My initial assessment fee is £60 which is an hour - hour and half assessment  providing a detailed written assessment of the symptoms and treatment recommendations discussed in assessment.

CBT Treatment sessions are   £50 face to face CBT.

I also provide Equine Facilitated Therapy at  £50 per session

All sessions are an hour in duration . Some session will inevitable be longer depending on the work we are doing and especial when completing practical skill work. There is no additional charge .

Further information

Please note, The Equine Therapy is a non ridden therapy, it is working with the horse on the ground.

My facilities are in a rural location.
