About me
Dr Christina is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist & Trauma Specialist with 20 years of experience in Private Practice, NHS, Social Care, and Education settings. Offering Specialist Psychological Assessments, Therapies, Healing Retreats and Immersions for Adults, Adolescents, Parents and Infants, online and in Cornwall.
Christina is passionate about Attachment & Trauma Informed Practices, Child Development, Complex Trauma, Abuse, Adversity, Autism and Neurodiversity, Perinatal Psychology, Pregnancy, Birthing Experiences, and Parenting.
Completing additional post doctoral training in various approaches to offer the best possible service to clients, including; EMDR : Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing and IFS : Internal Family Systems Therapy.
Appointments generally take place online, with face to face available by arrangement in Cornwall.
Training, qualifications & experience
Christina has continued post doctoral training following initial degrees; BSc Forensic Science & Psychology, Masters in Psychology of Education, Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Therapy training includes EMDR, IFS, CFT, CAT, CBT, DBT: Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing, Internal Family Systems, Compassion Focused, Cognitive Analytical, Behavioural, Systemic, Somatic Body-Based, Soul Healing, Spiritual Coaching and Counselling. Multiple modalities provide a whole-person, holistic and integrative approach to promote true healing and wholeness.
Training in Child & Family courts and Expert witness practice has also been undertaken with Bond Solon and Anna Freud Centre.
