About me

Hello my name is Chloe and I'm a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor offering sessions to adults (18+) online via Zoom and by phone. These are usually on a weekly basis for 50 minutes each, if however this doesn't suit you we can chat about what works for you and I will try to help. Currently I am available on Wednesday's from 10am-4pm.

About me
I offer a non-judgmental, secure and confidential space for you to talk about anything that you wish.

I specialise in helping people with bereavement and loss which includes loss of relationship, marriage, job and pet bereavement. I also offer counselling for low self-esteem and self-confidence.

What to expect
I offer a free introductory session for 50 minutes to see if we will be a good fit for each other. I allow you the space to explore what you would like to at your own pace with understanding and support without giving advice.

Sometimes beginning your counselling journey can feel difficult talking about things from your past or present day that are causing you distress but you may notice that talking about these can help you to grow and change as a person and to understand yourself better which in turn may help you to feel better too.

Going through a bereavement or loss can make you feel lost, not knowing how or what to do to make yourself feel better. Sometimes it may feel like you won't ever feel better. Talking about who or what you have lost can be a way forward to help you understand how you feel and may shed light on your future.

I can offer open-ended counselling so there is no limit to how many sessions we have. This will be your choice and I will ask each session if you would like to have another session the following week.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am an individual member of the BACP

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
