I am a registered member of the British Association for counselling and Psychotherapy.
Hello and a very warm welcome to my profile. I am an Integrative Youth, Adolescence and Young Adults counsellor. I draw upon different modalities to uniquely tailor sessions for individual people. I offer a range of different therapies to be able to suit your needs, be that room based, out in the fresh air or around animals. I am extremely passionate about what I do and holding people through their hard times.
I work for the NHS Youth Counselling Service through out GP surgeries in Surrey and Hampshire. I am also currently room based in a private setting where I can offer eco therapy and animal assisted therapy (Weather permitting). Please feel free to get in touch to discuss your individual need.
Therapy is a personal investment, I know it can feel scary to take the first step, I will provide a safe and non judgment place for you to explore your thoughts and start making positive changes to your life. I am empathic, patient and will work with your best interests at heart. Phone: 07478313281. www.chloecaton-counselling.co.uk

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of counselling I deal with
Day time, Please call for availability. Please note I go on Maternity leave in the first week of April 2020.
If you would like to experience counselling in a natural environment then I can assist with this. I have a safe space for you to engage in therapy whilst listening to the sounds of nature and watching my horses graze. I also offer experiential aspects of therapy by offering you the chance to experience the benefits of Animal Assisted Therapy.
