About me

Have you felt for many years, that things just have not worked out in certain way and you don't know why it is like that?

Do you feel lost at times?

Has there been a problem that you have been scared about talking but want to address it?

Counselling provides the environment and the secure place to feel safe and to explore and discuss any issues that you bring. Sometimes life will bring us different situations and we feel unable to cope.

Talking things through can help with managing and understand what is happening but also allowing ourselves to be open to what is the fear and trusting ourselves to talk about it is a key part to make changes.

I am an experienced counsellor who has worked for many years with many life situations and have gained knowledge and understanding of relationships dynamics in various ways. I have had a umber of life experiences myself which have shaped my understanding of myself.

I have a passion for people and supporting people to grow and to reach their desired solution. My core basis is person-centred and as a trained integrative counsellor I bring in different skills dependant on client needs.

I have over the years gained understanding with working within the NHS as well as different establishments under various roles. Life can take you on many different directions. Do you want to take control? Have you been on auto pilot and feel out of control?

Citta Counselling offers a non judgemental and confidential space to help you feel empowered and reach a level of awareness that supports growth. Listening is a core basis of my being which is what I am able to provide for another.

I have worked for over 10 years with supporting people for change and growth by building relationships that provide the starting of the change process. Some of the areas of work includes working with individuals, groups, young people and families.

I work within the ethical framework of the BACP.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
