About me

Does your sensitivity leave you feeling overwhelmed by your environment or life?
Are you a newly awakened/self-aware empath, that not only senses the subtle changes in the atmosphere, but also feels other peoples energies?
Do you need time to recover/recharge after spending long amounts of time with people?

Do you identify as an introvert, ambivert or introverted-extrovert?
Are you an Indigo Adult? (highly empathic/intuitive, emotionally intelligent, rebellious nature, resists authoritarianism, sensitive, innate spiritual gifts, may at times feel like a misfit or misunderstood, longing for your soul tribe & a strong sense of purpose to make a difference).
Do you have a creative/holistic approach to life?

Then you may benefit from having a counselling session with me. I am an intuitive counsellor, integrating a range of therapeutic practices, incorporating a holistic approach which takes into account your whole self:

Mental (talking therapies)
Emotional (holding space for the authentic expression of your feelings)
Physical (body movement therapy exercises)
Spiritual (exploration of spiritual experiences).

I also help clients who have experienced:

abuse
addictions
anxiety
bereavement
depression
relationship issues
stress
work related issues

Counselling sessions are held online via Zoom or over the phone.  If you'd like to book an initial session to see if I am the right counsellor for you, feel free to get in touch.

Training, qualifications & experience

I became a qualified therapeutic integrative counsellor in 2012 and shortly after this moved into health care working within the NHS to use these skills to support people with addictions. I have provided 1-2-1 and group client work for almost 7 years.

I am an individual member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and I have been in private practice since January 2021.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
