About me

I am passionate in enabling individuals to discover the unique resources within themselves and offer a safe, calm and professional counselling service to facilitate desired goals and changes.

I provide a nurturing, non-judgmental and compassionate place to express yourself.

As a qualified and experienced therapeutic counsellor, I integrate therapeutic principles unique to you and your circumstances, underpinned by confidentiality, respect and self-autonomy, working at your pace.

I am a registered member of both The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and The Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC).

I offer an initial 20-minutes free-of-charge telephone consultation to explore how we can work together. I look forward to meeting with you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am qualified with a Bsc Degree and a Diploma of Higher Education in Therapeutic Counselling. I work with adults and young people in dealing with depression, anger, anxiety, bullying, self-confidence and relationship issues, among other issues.
I have experience in working in Further Education (FE) setting and offer relational counselling. I attend regular personal & professional development training programs (CPD) and receive regular on-going clinical supervision for the benefit of my practice and clients.

I offer an initial free-of-charge 20-minutes telephone consultation to explore how we can work together. My regular fee per counselling session is £40 for adults and £35 for children aged 16 - 18 years old.
I also provide telephone counselling at £30 for a 50-minute session.

Further information

My areas of special interest are on, Bullying (workplace, home, school/college), Low self-esteem/confidence, Assertiveness and Depression.

I work from clean, safe and confidential offices, located in both Wakefield and Ossett towns with closeby ample parking and are situated within short walking distances from the train and bus stops.
