About me

Hey — if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just trying to make sense of everything going on, you’re not alone. I work with people aged 18 to 25 who are navigating big life changes, pressures, or emotional struggles. If that sounds like you, get in touch.

I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk about what’s on your mind. Together, we’ll figure things out at your pace, and start to move toward feeling better — more grounded, more in control, more you.

Reaching out for help isn’t easy — I get that. But you don’t have to have it all worked out before you start. My role is to support you on your own terms as we explore what’s going on and what you want to change.

My approach is based in psychodynamic counselling, which means we’ll look at how past experiences might be affecting how you feel now, and where you want to get to in the future. In our first session, we’ll chat about how you see yourself and your world, and begin to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. You lead the way — I’m here to support, not to tell you what to do.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m a fully qualified counsellor, registered with the BACP. I hold an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy, specialising in working with young people.

I’ve been supporting 18–25s for over 8 years, in both education and charity settings. I’ve worked with people dealing with all kinds of things — grief, anxiety, family stuff, identity questions, and more.

I’ve got a particular interest in supporting people who are figuring out who they are and where they’re heading — which, let’s face it, can be a lot.

Practice description

I offer open-ended or short-term therapy. I have some reduced fee spaces for people who are out of work, on a low income or studying full time.

Online sessions, flexible session times over google meets.

My first session

Before we book a first session, I offer a free 15-minute phone call — just a casual chat so you can tell me a bit about what’s going on, and we can see if we’re a good fit. No pressure.

Our first full session is 50 minutes. It’s a chance to talk more about what’s brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping for. I’ll explain how everything works, and we’ll take it from there — safely, ethically, and always at your pace.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
