About me
I work with young people aged 18 – 25. If you would like some space to make sense of the challenges you are facing, please get in contact. I can provide safe, non-judgmental space where you can reflect on emotional distress so that you can move forward in a mindful and positive way.
I understand that making the first steps in reaching out for help takes courage. Be reassured that we will work together on your therapeutic journey towards your goals. My aim is to help you grow and develop and build your emotional wellbeing.
Psychodynamic counselling is a supportive process which helps you understand how your current feelings and behaviour are shaped by your past experiences. In your first session, we can explore how you see yourself, how you see the world and your place in it. Sessions will be led by you, and we will work at your pace and focus on the difficulty you would like help with.
Contactable through Young Adult Matters Counselling here.

I am a psychodynamic counsellor with 8 years of experience working with young people. I have worked in the charitable and education sectors. I have extensive experience of working with young people who are bereaved
I have a particular interest in working with young people as they navigate the challenges of growing in to adulthood.
Practice description
I offer open-ended or short-term therapy. I have some reduced fee spaces for people who are out of work, on a low income or studying full time.
Online or face to face, walk and talk in North London.
My first session
Before our first session, I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation, this gives you an opportunity to briefly outline your current circumstances and enables me to consider if I might be able to help you.
In our first session, we would further explore what brings you to therapy at this particular time. The session would last 50 minutes. This session will be a therapeutic assessment in which we will identify what you want from the counselling. In this session, I will outline the practicalities for our work so that we can work both safely and ethically.
We would then have a chance to think about how you feel about us working together.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
