Charlotte Warburton CPsychol, Counselling Psychologist and CBT Therapist
As a Chartered Counselling Psychologist I am able to offer a range of psychological therapy and counselling approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), in a non-judgemental and confidential environment.
Counselling or Psychological therapy is a supportive process through which important life issues can be addressed, whether you are struggling with emotional, personal, or relationship difficulties, it can help you to meet life's challenges and move forward. Every individual is different, and every individual will have a different set of experiences and hopes. Whether you want to work in the past, present or future, I aim to work together with you, in a respectful and collaborative way that is best suited to your needs.
I provide short-term and long-term counselling and psychotherapy. As a Counselling Psychologist I integrate the core features of counselling and traditional psychotherapy with current research findings, to alleviate psychological and emotional distress through talking. Following an initial assessment to discuss your difficulties and requirements, we can discuss the most appropriate approach for you.
I have experience of assisting people through a range of common difficulties related to depression, anxiety, poor self-esteem, loss and relationship issues as well as more specific problems such as panic attacks or post-traumatic stress. Together we can think about what is happening to you, help you to gain new perspectives, and make changes to enable you to move forward.
