About me

We all experience some form of distress during our lives. It could be current, something that happened in the past or you could be feeling distressed at something you see happening in the future. It can lead to feeling overwhelmed, vulnerable or unable to cope. It could be affecting yourself and what you do, it could be affecting the relationships around you.

Often our anxieties and difficulties can feel so consuming and overwhelming it seems impossible to find a way out, or a way forward. Our thoughts and feelings can feel confusing, worrisome and isolating. Talking to friends and relatives about what we are experiencing may be too difficult as you may feel misunderstood or judged, maybe you just don’t want to worry them. Trying to work through our difficulties alone can be like being stuck between a rock and a hard place (trust me, I’ve been there!) That is why turning to counselling can help. You may know what is triggering your current experiences or you may have feelings you don’t understand. Many people come to counselling not knowing where the begin, and that’s ok, because that’s where I can help.

About Me

My Name is Charlotte and my passion for helping others came from a very young age. Having experienced poor mental health as a teenager I turned to counselling as I felt lost and didn’t have the knowledge and understanding of how to get out of the hard place I was in. I found counselling to be life changing and knew I wanted to be able to help others overcome the barriers preventing them from being happy and living a fulfilling life.

Over the last few years I have been working in different healthcare settings including gyms and leisure centres, GP surgeries and remotely, delivering 1-2-1 counselling and wellbeing coaching as well as fitness sessions and classes.

I love being involved in my clients journey’s and watching them flourish in to their best selves and finding happiness. If you would like more information on the services I offer, please contact me with any queries and I will get back to you promptly.

Please get in touch to book your free personalised consultation to see how we can work together to achieve your goals. This is a free, no obligation consultation, however if you are ready to embark on this journey together, we can arrange our first session to get started.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Charlotte.
