About me

Hello and thank you for looking at my profile!  Seeking therapy can sometimes feel a little bit scary, especially if you have never had therapy before, but for many people, taking that first step can be a relief, a feeling of not being alone anymore. So please do send me a message and I will arrange to call you for an informal chat, free of charge and with no obligation.

One size does not fit all, so I tailor my work to suit each individual, offering a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore what's troubling you.  I believe you are the expert in your own life,  so you set the agenda and pace of our sessions.  I will be there beside you to help you work through what is bothering you and together we will find a way to improve your life.

I'm a professionally trained and qualified Person-Centred/Existential therapist, a Certified online and telephone counsellor and a Registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.  I am offering remote therapy to adults aged 18+ in the UK, telephone or video sessions (using Whatsapp or Zoom).

I will be offering Walk and Talk Therapy very soon, so if you feel you might be interested in this type of session, please send me a message.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
