About me
I'm a fully qualified Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapist. I offer a safe, contained, thoughtful, non-judgemental space to explore issues past and present. Together we will address whatever it is that has compelled you to seek therapy and try to find solutions and ways of responding to life's challenges.
Who I work with
I have a special interest in helping people manage anxiety and all its presentations. But generally I work with young and older adults with a wide range of presenting difficulties including: anxiety, depression, identity issues, grief, loss, gender issues, mood disorders, personality disorders, low self esteem, low self- confidence, post-natal depression, trauma, parenting challenges and life transitions. I am also a trainee EMDR practitioner.
How I work
I work in Maida Vale / Paddington and Marylebone in London, and also offer sessions online via Zoom. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing space where you feel comfortable exploring all aspects of yourself. My approach is tailored to you as an individual with your current struggles and concerns. Whether you are bringing daily worries and stresses or old wounds or trauma, we will endeavour to understand your inner world and deepen your self knowledge to help you improve your quality of living. We may explore past experiences in order to discover how they may be influencing your present challenges. Gaining insight into your patterns and defenses can open up fresh perspectives and opportunities for positive change and transition in your life. Therapy can help you walk through life with a lighter step and with a better sense of self.
What to expect
I offer either traditional talk therapy or a unique blend of talk therapy and creative modalities. Depending on your needs and comfort level, I may incorporate dream work, somatic emotion body tracking, creative visualization or art therapy. These innovative techniques are some of my favourite tools, as they allow us to bypass the rational mind and tap into the unconscious. I've found that these creative practices can catalyze powerful shifts that talk therapy alone might not achieve.
How to connect
You can book a free 15 min video call with me either through the 'Book Intro Call' link on this page or through my website (www.charlottenation.com). Here we can discuss your reasons for coming to therapy, and I can answer any questions regarding how I work, and the process of starting. You can also email or WhatsApp if preferred, and I will reply as soon as possible.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
