About me

I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist and experienced clinical practitioner working in private practice and also for the NHS and Mind. I have experience in helping individuals and couples who seek therapy for a number of reasons, including the breakdown of a relationship, low self esteem, depression, anxiety, bereavement, paranoia and trauma.

I know that coming to therapy can often feel difficult and scary. The desire to want to change often comes out of finding yourself stuck in the same place. This can feel confusing and even overwhelming, so finding the right therapist is essential. Please send me an email or give me a ring and we can set up a free, initial consultation for us to get a feel for our working chemistry. This will determine if we would like to work together. Should this not be the case I will try to recommend someone who will be right for your needs.

Usually clients work with me over four weekly sessions and then decide if they have got what they needed or would like to extend the work.

How can I help you?

I will support you in your journey. Together, we will work on making sense of the mental blocks you’ve hit to unlock new ways of thinking through the past in order to awaken present. I am a warm, empathic and direct therapist who can offer you a confidential, safe space to explore yourself  and your relationships deeply, and in your own time.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a certified psychotherapist in Transactional Analysis with a Masters in Science and a Diploma in psychotherapy.

I am an experienced clinical practitioner having worked at Metanoia Counselling and Psychotherapy services (MCPS) in Ealing, Putney Mead (NHS) and West London Counselling service in short term therapy and with long term clients at Mind in Twickenham.

I am a Member of UKCP and governed by the UKCP code of ethics. I am also a member of IARTA and EATA, the International Association of Relational Transactional Analysis and European Association of Transactional Analysis.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
