About me
If you're going through a difficult time, I'm here to help. I'm Charlotte, a counsellor based in St Albans.
Life can be very tough at times. You might be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or just not quite yourself. Maybe something difficult has happened, or perhaps you're not sure why you're struggling - you just know things don't feel right. Whatever it is, you don't have to figure it out on your own.
In our sessions, you'll find a calm, friendly space where you can talk openly and be completely yourself. There's no pressure and no judgment - just someone listening and supporting you. We'll go at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you, and gently work towards feeling more settled, understood, and in control.
I bring a warm, down-to-earth approach to counselling. I use a mix of therapeutic styles, shaped around what works best for you, because everyone is different.
My space is inclusive and welcoming to everyone. I'm proud to offer a neuro-affirming and LGBTQIA+ friendly service, where you'll be met with acceptance and respect, just as you are.
I work from therapy rooms in central St Albans, offering a private, relaxed space where clients can feel comfortable and secure.
