About me
I am an accredited CAT therapist with a small private practice. I also work part-time as a medical doctor and CAT therapist within the NHS. I am passionate about spending time with people, helping them to learn more about themselves, understand themselves better and ultimately find more peace and freedom in their lives.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified Cognitive Analytic Therapy Practitioner. I have spent the last four years working within the NHS for the local adult eating disorders service and seeing clients within this service for both 'CAT' therapy and in my other role as a medical doctor.
(The private service I offer is within my capacity as a therapist only, not as a medical doctor.)
I have experience working with many different people from all walks of life and with variety of things they wanted to address within therapy.
Member organisations

The Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy (ACAT) is a registered charity. They welcome members of the public, health professionals, ACAT accredited professionals, and anyone interested in finding out more about CAT. They list CAT practitioners.
