Working with adults
I have experience of working with a broad range of issues including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, stress, relationship difficulties, bereavement, guilt, anger, OCD, abuse, bullying, to name a few. I also have many years of experience working with adults from Employee Assistance Programmes dealing with work related issues. I use various different counselling techniques based upon your specific needs.
Working with Children
My experience of working with children has involved me dealing with issues such as divorce or family breakdowns, bullying, self harm, depression, anxiety, stress including exam stress and so on. An assessment with the primary care giver is the start of the counselling process, then the child will attend the counselling session without the primary caregiver. I use various techniques including creative play and the traditional talking therapies based on the child's specific needs and their developmental age. I also have experience of working in a large comprehensive school with children with challenging behaviour.
I am also able to provide email counselling, please email me for further details and prices at firstname.lastname@example.org
