Celia Veronica Paul MNCS (Acc) Counselling for Individuals & Couples
The essence of life lies in the life itself which is supposed to be lived.
My name is Celia Veronica Paul and I am Director of Essence of Life Counselling Practice based in East London which provides Counselling to Individuals and Couples. I also offer EAP services to organisations.
I believe all of us at some point in our lives may have found it difficult to express our thoughts, feelings or emotions, for fear of being criticised or judged by others. Holding on to theses thoughts, feelings or emotions often causes stress, depression and/or more conflict and can make life more difficult to deal with. It is at these times that counselling can be helpful to you.
Essence of Life Counselling believes that each person has a unique story that includes past, present and future. Each person is on a journey and the goal being to get from where they are now to where they want to be. This involves changes in behaviour, thoughts and feelings which lead to improved social and vocational functioning, and personal growth.
I have extensive experience of working with relationship difficulties and conflict or couple's going through a divorce or separation as well as other issues such as bereavement, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem or lack of confidence, stress, child related issues, domestic violence and sexual issues.
I offer a safe, confidential and comfortable environment to help you begin to sort through your problems and begin to make sense of your life or resolve underlying past or present issues at your own pace.
I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor whose integrative approach draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Person Centred and Systemic Models. As a Clinical and Relationship Counsellor I am able to work with both deep rooted psychological or emotional issues. As well as communication styles and patterns of behaviour to encourage conversations about conflict, which enable insight into problems.
Essence of Life Counselling Ltd is also an Employee Assistance Provider.
