About me
Celestia’s (36yrs) : mission is to provide an authentic, safe space in therapy, which is why her empathy, compassion, insight and ability to understand the difficulties that her clients are experiencing, creates a place that allows clients to feel comfortable, safe and truly understood. From this space she helps clients to feel a sense of relief, success, empowerment and joy.
Celestia’s first hand experience of the benefits of therapy for anxiety, childhood trauma, grief, emotional regulation and self development, along with her high level of knowledge and understanding that she has gained throughout her decade long training, education and therapeutic experience; means she is extremely passionate, insightful, empathetic, capable and dedicated to helping others.
As a Counsellor and Psychotherapist she specializes in Mindfulness and awareness based therapies, working predominantly with female adults struggling with;
-stress / anxiety,
-depression
-childhood trauma
-low self esteem
-relationship problems
- Grief / loss
She also has a particular passion for working with those wishing to, or who have started embarking on a self development/authentic living journey. Very much following along the lines of great teachers such as Brené Brown and Ekhart Tolle.
Celestia has a deeply empathetic, relational approach that Is intuitive and integrated; so tailored around the specific needs of each individual client. Staying open to working with her clients in the most supportive mode for them at that time is an important part of her work. She is ready, capable and dedicated to assisting clients in exploring the cause and way forward through their current difficulties, whatever they maybe.
Her own personal journey through childhood, marriage and motherhood kickstarted her desire to work in the emotional/mental health space, with a focus on healing trauma, living authentically, deepening relationships and breaking free of unhealthy thought processes, behaviour patterns and belief systems.
Celestia draws on the following therapeutic approaches: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), ACT, compassion focused therapy, Humanistic Therapies, Person centred psychotherapy, Existential psychotherapy, Gestalt psychotherapy, and mindfulness therapy.

- Bachelor degree- psychology
- Post grad certificate- Gestalt psychotherapy
- Diploma - counselling
- Completing Mindfulness based cognitive therapy Certificate at Oxford Universities Mindfulness centre
- Completing Masters degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy
