Sometimes it’s hard to breathe, life gets on top of us and it can feel as if the walls are closing in or we’re in a big black hole with no hope of escape. At these times it is important to turn to someone else for support, to someone who can offer a listening ear and who welcomes you with compassion and acceptance whatever you may bring. This can be a big step that can make us feel vulnerable at the thought of opening up to a stranger about our innermost thoughts, fears and emotions. I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, who is here to work with you to explore your problem/s and to help you to navigate your path forward. My aim is to work with you in a style that works for you. This means that I am able to integrate a number of psychotherapeutic approaches including person-centred, attachment and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT). So, whether you want to go with the flow or have something that is more directive, then I am able to adapt my approach to your preferences and requirements.

Training, qualifications & experience
- MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.
- Diploma in Psychology with Endorsement (Graduate Conversion).
- Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
I have worked in a variety of settings with adults (18+) and I am a staff counsellor at Mind BLMK. I have experience working with brief, short-term therapy of up to eight sessions and more long term open-ended therapy.
