Kate Martin - MSc, registered member MBACP
Hello and welcome,
Sometimes it’s hard to breathe, life gets on top of us and it can feel as if the walls are closing in or we’re in a big black hole with no hope of escape. At these times it is important to turn to someone else for support, to someone who can offer a listening ear and who welcomes you with compassion and acceptance whatever you may bring. This can be a big step that can make us feel vulnerable at the thought of opening up to a stranger about our innermost thoughts, fears and emotions. Please be assured that you will receive a warm welcome in a safe and confidential space.
I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, who is here to work with you to explore your problem/s and to help you to navigate your path forward. My aim is to work with you in a style that works for you. This means that I am able to integrate a number of psychotherapeutic approaches including person-centred, attachment and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT). So, whether you want to go with the flow or have something that is more directive, then I am able to adapt my approach to your preferences and requirements.
If you have any questions or want to make a first appointment please contact me confidentially on 07462 318134 or email me.
