About me
Hello, I am a chartered counselling psychologist with a special interest in loss, bereavement and other life transitions. My approach affirms the unique ways people live, survive and find meaning, and I believe it is possible, within a consistent, safe and empathetic environment, to become more fully in tune with yourself and your body, to move closer towards developing your personal potential, and to feel that you are living a fuller, more enriched life.
As a counselling psychologist, I am trained in a number of psychological perspectives but at its core my approach is based on attending to the whole of you as you make sense of your world, offering an environment in which you can be who you are and in which you are fully seen and welcomed.
As well as the Person Centred approach I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, which looks at how your beliefs and behaviour can change how you feel, EMDR (a type of trauma therapy) and Focussing (attending to the bodily felt sense) and can bring all these approaches to my responses to you.
I work with adults ranging from 18 – 80s. I welcome clients of all backgrounds, sexualities and gender identifications. I am a member of the Person Centred Association's special interest group in gender, sexuality and relationship diversity. I do not undertake conversion therapy.
Please note I only offer online sessions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
