Are you finding life difficult at the moment? If so you are not alone.
Whatever you are going through may leave you feeling depressed, angry, frustrated, or sad. You may even feel as if you are going mad, and wondering how things will ever get better. Believe me – they will! Please be reassured that in most cases we can work through things together in a respectful, supportive, confidential and safe manner to bring a sense of fulfilment back into your life.
I am proud of my trusted background as a qualified and experienced Registered General Nurse of 20+ years, having worked both in private practice and in the NHS. Alongside my private psychotherapy practice, I also work as a volunteer counsellor for a nationally recognised Queens award-winning national charity.
I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I work according to BACP and UKCP Ethical Frameworks. I have full professional indemnity insurance and an enhanced disclosure certificate (DBS). I support my practice with regular self-development work including Personal Therapy and mandatory Clinical Supervision (both 1-2-1 and Group). This means you can be assured that you will always be safe and well protected throughout our work together.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Sorry for this inconvenience and please be reassured this is to protect you and your family and me and mine during this unprecedented time.
NOTE: After attending online sessions my clients feedback is that it is very helpful and no too dissimilar to face to face counselling.
