About me

Welcome.

I am a Gestalt counsellor working in the centre of Eastbourne and I can help you discover the change you want in your life so that you can live it in a more fulfilling way.

I offer individual counselling, whether short-term or more open-ended.

I believe we are each unique in the way we experience and see the world, and I see the relationship between the client and therapist as central to therapy.

Gestalt counselling focuses on helping you become more aware of your relational patterns - patterns that may be impacting your life in distressing ways - so that you can loosen their hold and discover alternative and more conscious ways of being.

Together we can create a safe therapeutic space that fits your unique needs, challenges and concerns, and that values and respects your individuality so that you can discover your capacity to create the change and growth you want in your life through deeper self-awareness and then through experimentation and self-expression.

My previous counselling experience is with a community counselling charity and a bereavement charity. I’ve also worked in education for many years, both teaching and researching, as well as in the private sector in publishing.

I hold a Post-Graduate Diploma from the University of Brighton. I am also a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) and work in accordance with their ethical framework.

Please contact me if you would like to arrange an initial, no-obligation session with me to see if counselling can help you.
