Castle Counselling Services
We are Louise and Monica, and thank you for taking the time to view our profile.
We are fully qualified integrative counsellors offering a counselling service in the North Antrim Coast area. We are registered with BACP and NCS, and work within the BACP Code of Ethics. We can offer you a safe, ethical, confidential, respectful and non-judgemental space in which you can focus on yourself and begin to understand in more depth the challenges you may be facing. In this space we will listen, support and help you to understand your feelings and behaviours, and enable you to become more self-aware, thus enabling you to implement the change. In all sessions, you will have our full and focused attention, the therapy space, is a space which allows you to focus on yourself, and the most important element for us is the building and maintenance of a strong therapeutic relationship with you.
As integrative counsellors we will incorporate various therapeutic techniques including person-centred/humanistic concepts, CBT methods of change and pyschodynamic therapies. The work is very much led by yourself as client, and our team will work with you to ensure that we are meeting your specific needs. We understand that considering counselling can be a very big decision, so to assist with this we can offer you a short 15-20 minute free of charge telephone consultation to connect with you, and for you to ensure that our service will meet your specific needs, and that we answer any questions you may have.
We therapeutically work with clients from the ages of 12 upwards and we can offer counselling for a number of issues such as: anxiety/depression/stress/suicidal ideation/self-harm/family issues/relationship difficulties/abuse - adult and childhood/domestic abuse/bereavement and loss/low self-esteem/panic attacks/loneliness etc. We can offer you the opportunity for short or longer term therapeutic work, depending on your individual need.
Our therapeutic work is very much led by you as client, and we will journey with you at a pace that works for you.
If you are ready to begin your therapeutic journey, we are here to walk beside you on that journey. We look forward to connecting with you.
