I believe that everyone has the right to a fulfilling love and sex life – whether they are tied together or not.
Relationships in general have such a pivotal role in peoples' lives, that if they are not working out alright, the weight of the deficiencies tends to start impacting upon a person's ability to deal with all the stress and challenges of their day-to-day lives.
Family, friends, partners… connection to people is, in my opinion, what makes life worthwhile. And sometimes our patterns of behaviour get in the way of having high quality interactions with others, harming our relationships.
In therapy, we can shine a light on things that are getting in the way of you having the relationships that you want and search for alternatives together.
On the sexual side of things, it is my goal to make sure no one is in pain (physical, psychological, or emotional) during sex unless they want to. Sex can be complicated, but also fun, pleasurable, and positive. However, given the fact that each person will enjoy different things, there is no ready formula to achieve pleasurable sex. My psychosexual therapy practice helps clients to find their own way of having good sex (with themselves or others).
