I Currently Offer:
Embodied Mindfulness Psychotherapy Group.
A unique evidence-based treatment that integrates mindfulness, yoga and group psychotherapy. This group meets weekly and is suitable for anyone who wants to increase their awareness of how they relate to self and others.
Embodied Mindfulness Psychotherapy Group is a unique, new group that draws on evidence based practices and provides opportunities for healing and learning about oneself and others in a small and supportive group where participants can share their experiences in a safe, non judgement space. The group seamlessly brings together mindfulness, yoga and psychological enquiry to increase awareness and curiosity about how the body influences the mind and the mind influences the body. These practices will help you to regulate stress, anxiety and fear. Which in turn allows us to feel safe enough to explore habitual patterns, interpersonal relationship and new ways of responding.
Who is it for: Anyone who would like to explore body mind connection and or has issues regulating emotions, low mood, feeling disconnected, lack of confidence, self esteem issues, difficulties in listening and responding to own needs, interpersonal issues, poor body image and dependency issues.
An initial individual session is required for therapy group in order to to get to know one another, establish goals, and determine that the group would be a helpful fit for you.
Time/ Date - The group meets weekly on a Tuesday evening between 6.45 - 9.15pm.
Group Size - maximum 8 individuals.
