Caroline Walters Dip.Couns, Registered MBACP
I'm a experienced person centred counsellor. My own personal experience of counselling led me to wanting to help others who may be experiencing difficulties in their life. I have experience of working with anxiety , depression, low self esteem, panic attacks, PTSD, Self harm, Domestic abuse, addiction, sexual abuse and some chronic medical conditions (non- exhaustive list).
I offer a confidential and safe space aiming to help the client explore whats difficult for them right now along with any associated feelings allowing the person to be heard in a empathetic, trusting and non judgemental way.
Sometimes I feel it necessary to use an integrative approach in order to help the clients, drawing on techniques and strategies from other counselling theories e.g. CBT. Sessions are face to face and my general approach is relaxed and down to earth.
I'm happy to answer any enquiries you may have by telephone or email.

I'm also a qualified and experienced Yoga teacher and have taught adults and children in and around Truro for many years. I understand the importance of maintaining a healthy mind and body and value the benefits Yoga can aid in helping to relax and focus on breathing therfore focusing more on the moment this awareness has been found to greatly reduce stress and some related conditions e.g. anxiety, panic attacks.
I believe the link between body and mind is greatly under estimated and an awareness of this can really help a persons general well being.
