About me

- I am a Bilingual French/English qualified integrative counsellor and an accredited member of the BACP.

- I work with adult individuals, in my clinic or on Zoom.

- I can help you with your anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, family and relationship issues, breakups, grief and bereavement, childhood trauma, anger, ADHD, sex problems, perfectionism, etc., understand better their roots/causes and see how you can cope better and make changes.

- My 1st career was in the Banking industry, which allows me to be very familiar and understand high pressure in a competitive corporate industry that can result in anxiety, stress, burnout, low self-confidence and low self-esteem issues.

- I have years of experience and interest in disability and special needs, especially people who are carers to someone with a disability, often resulting in loss of identity.

- I am a very warm, caring and empathetic counsellor and will do my best to create a trustworthy and safe relationship with you to make you feel at ease to open up and explore your thoughts and feelings, fears and hopes at your own pace and without expectation or judgement.

- Don’t wait and let it build up to overwhelming levels. I believe that I can help you reflect on those issues if they resonate with you and help you live a happier and healthier life, more connected to your true self.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
